To book a consultation with one of our dedicated staff and to see how we can provide help to you or your loved ones, please book a consultation meeting with us

We understand that there may be several questions you or your loved one/s may have about what to expect and how live-in care works in practice. After the initial enquiry, we will arrange a free of charge consultation for you. This can be held at our office or alternatively, we can arrange a visit in your home, whatever best suits you. Having someone living with you can be a daunting thought, and our home consultation is there to answer all your questions, explain what to expect and to put your mind at ease.

The Consultation

We love to keep every aspect of our business and service personal, it is all about you. Our Director and managers take a ‘hands on’ approach and are actively involved in the day to day running of the business.

Several of our clients are enjoying choice and independence within their own homes; receiving the care they have always imagined.

During the consultation, we will take the time to listen to you, your needs, abilities, goals, wishes and preferences, so that we can match a carer who is best suited to your needs.

Our care services are designed to put you in control. We do not dictate your schedule, or try to adjust your habits to meet our service. Instead, our role at Horizons Care, is to adjust to your routine and lifestyle.

We encourage you to take as much time as you need before you make a decision. During that time, please feel free to get in touch if there are any further questions or concerns that you may have. Once you are happy for Horizons Care to be your care provider, we work together with yourself, your family and refer to information gathered at the consultation, to put together a personalised care plan. This plan will be personalised to reflect your needs, routines and lifestyle.

It will provide important guidance to the carer on a day to day basis. No two days are ever the same, and our carers’ are flexible to adapt to your changing needs. They will always communicate with you, and listen to you, to ensure that they are delivering your care the way you want it to be delivered.

Once everything is agreed and you are happy for us to provide your care, we will select a carer/s who are suitable to meet your needs. Where possible, we will arrange for you to meet with your carer beforehand.
